Position Summary

Our housekeepers maintain cleanliness and safety in all resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces. The role requires adherence to sanitation standards and a friendly, respectful demeanor toward residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
  • Launder and replace linens, towels, and other textiles as needed.
  • Follow the community cleaning schedule and protocols, using safety precautions.
  • Build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions.
  • Respect residents’ privacy and preferences while cleaning their living spaces.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs to the supervisor.
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely according to instructions.
  • Follow infection control and sanitation protocols, including proper waste disposal.
Requirements Candidate Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting (hotels).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
