Our housekeepers maintain cleanliness and safety in all resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces. The role requires adherence to sanitation standards and a friendly, respectful demeanor toward residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
- Launder and replace linens, towels, and other textiles as needed.
- Follow the community cleaning schedule and protocols, using safety precautions.
- Build positive relationships with residents through friendly, respectful interactions.
- Respect residents’ privacy and preferences while cleaning their living spaces.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs to the supervisor.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely according to instructions.
- Follow infection control and sanitation protocols, including proper waste disposal.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting (hotels).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
