The Projectiles Portfolio is seeking an Associate Director to serve as the Precision Projectiles Development Program Manager for the Excalibur Hit to Kill (HTK) and Extended Range Artillery Projectile (ERAP) programs.
Both HTK (XM1180) and ERAP (XM1230) programs are part of the Excalibur Weapon System designed to further extend the range and seeker capability of 155mm artillery projectiles.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

- Responsible for program integration, coordination, and direct engagement with the program team and functional partners, in pursuit of day-to-day program execution
- Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations
- Develop, inform and achieve AOP and LRP goals and objectives
- Advocate Program Management plans, processes, and business objectives including the management of Earned Value metrics and Risk and Opportunity processes
- Serve as the primary interface US Army Government Leaders to develop and influence program priorities, execution, and funding strategies
- Develop program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations
- Accountable for on-time completion of proposal and associated capture and startup activities
- Collaborate with Financial Planning to ensure Top-level Master Phasing and the Integrated Master Schedules meet program strategies, objectives, and milestones
- Lead internal reviews and executive briefings pertaining to all pursuits to include Gates, EACs, contract proposals, negotiation and definitization, and contract closeout efforts
- Shape future capture strategy and develop win strategies that enable follow-on contract phases in close coordination with the Requirements & Capabilities organization
- Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed
You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- Experience developing and reviewing cost proposals
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Experience with technical, cost, and schedule requirements
We Prefer
- In-depth knowledge of projectile weapon systems and army production and development programs
- Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.
