This manufacturing organization is continually growing and with continued investment in tooling, equipment, and process improvement, they are looking to add a highly experienced Injection Molding Tooling Engineer / Senior Mold Technician to support and strengthen their Tucson facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for all injection molding tooling. You will be designing, repairing and maintaining all tools across the manufacturing facility and will be working with a number of injection mold operators to implement process improvements and efficiencies. You will be working on a catalogue of existing tools but also new tools for implementation in manufacturing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a injection mold tooling professional to take a lead role within a molding facility, offering autonomy, technical challenge, and long‑term career moves into a senior position.
The Role:- Take ownership of all injection mold tooling across the facility
- Designing, repair and maintenance of a range of existing and new tools.
- Assist molding teams in optimizing injection molding processes and efficiencies to improve part quality and consistency
- Perform mold maintenance and coordinate major repairs with external toolmakers
- Strong knowledge of injection mold design, repair, and maintenance
- Ideally have knowledge of plastic injection molding
- 3D CAD experience beneficial but not essential
