About The Role

The Paint Helper plays a crucial supporting role in the painting process, ensuring that all preparatory and finishing tasks are completed efficiently to achieve high‑quality results. This position involves assisting skilled painters by preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and maintaining equipment, which directly contributes to the overall success of painting projects. The Paint Helper will work closely with the painting team to ensure that work areas are clean, materials are organized, and safety protocols are followed at all times.

This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions accurately to support timely project completion. Ultimately, the Paint Helper helps maintain a smooth workflow and contributes to delivering aesthetically pleasing and durable paint finishes in various settings across the United States.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of painting tools and materials.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Previous experience in a painting or construction‑related role.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to painting work.
• Basic knowledge of color mixing and paint types.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as directed.
• Assist in mixing and matching paint colors according to specifications.
• Set up and maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
• Support painters during application by handing tools, moving materials, and managing waste disposal.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
• Load and unload materials and supplies as needed to support painting operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and report any issues or supply needs.

The Paint Helper uses physical stamina and manual dexterity daily to assist with surface preparation and equipment handling, ensuring that painters can work efficiently. Attention to detail is essential when masking areas and mixing paints to achieve precise and clean finishes. Communication skills are important for coordinating with team members and reporting supply needs or safety concerns. The ability to follow safety protocols protects both the individual and the team in potentially hazardous environments.

Preferred skills such as familiarity with paint types and safety standards enhance the helper’s ability to anticipate needs and contribute proactively to the painting process.
