Mold Operator

Position Summary

Responsible for operating injection mold machines to cast product from raw material to final product, follow set production schedules, prepare required production documentation, and perform the overall inspection of parts.

• Set up and operate CNC molding machines on a limited basis with existing programs and tooling information.
• Make basic adjustments to molding parameters to produce accurate quality parts.
• Understand various types of mold tooling used in CNC molding and their proper application.
• Have a good understanding of basic math and ability to read prints.
• Understand QA inspection equipment and procedures.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Complete all quality production documents; includes but not limited to First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience, preferred.
• Know basic math concepts.

Requires frequent standing. Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds. Good dexterity and attention to detail through visual inspection.
