Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11pm

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable individual to join our second shift as a Shop Operator. In this role, you'll work hands-on with machined parts, assist in running lathes, horizontal mills, hydraulic saws, and get the opportunity to operate robot-fed vertical mills. This is a perfect position for someone looking to break into the machining field with the opportunity to grow and be promoted from within.

Responsibilities:

* Operate saws and prepare raw materials per job specifications

* Assist CNC machinists in machine setup and operation

* Deburr and sand machined parts using tools and finishing equipment

* Track inventory and material usage in logs and spreadsheets

* Perform routine maintenance on saws and workspace

* Move materials safely using appropriate tools/equipment

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area

* Follow all company safety protocols and standard procedures

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods

* Basic math and computer skills;
Excel experience a plus

* Must be detail-oriented, accountable, and self-motivated

* Machine shop experience helpful but not required

* Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of your role
