Location:
Tucson, AZ, United States. Work Arrangement:
Onsite. Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Planning & Scheduling:
Manage manufacturing work orders including creation, updates, and cancellations to meet production timelines. Monitor schedules and capacity daily to support production targets and ensure material availability through coordination with Purchasing and Operations. - Quality Control & Inspection:
Oversee inspection of incoming and in‑house manufactured parts using precision measurement tools. Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) including investigation, corrective actions, and rework to maintain compliance with quality and safety standards. - Documentation & Data Management:
Maintain accurate SAP data including parts, BOMs, and routings. Ensure documentation accuracy and review quality records such as ITPs and conformance documents. - Collaboration & Communication:
Participate in weekly production meetings to support production readiness. Work closely with Engineering, Production, and administrative teams to provide quality and technical input. - Travel Requirements:
Frequent travel to customer sites to support quality assurance and planning activities. - Safety First:

Must‑haves:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in QA/QC and planning within an industrial environment.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office with strong documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain MSHA certification.
Nice‑to‑haves:
- ISO 9001 certification and knowledge of quality systems such as Six Sigma and Lean.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in the steel fabrication industry and familiarity with ANSI flange specifications.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
