Manager, Facilities Maintenance; Onsite - Tucson

This role is located on site in Tucson, AZ and is part of the RTX Enterprise Services Facilities Team.

• Provide a safe work environment and lead safety improvement discussions.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and support all capacity growth operations within Tucson.
• Coordinate skilled trades activities across all working shifts and with workforce planning.
• Track employee training, certify time‑card and attendance management, create area layout and flow management.
• Assign daily schedules for preventive maintenance (PM) and repair work orders with a Planner/Scheduler partner, conduct stand‑up meetings, set priorities, and review reports/metrics to locate problem areas and create solutions.
• Create purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) to support facilities maintenance requirements and order supplies from MRO stores.
• Coordinate overtime, log and track hours in OTIS.
• Track vehicle maintenance and schedule services and repairs; work with fleet management.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare RCAS analysis for logistics review boards.
• Establish and maintain rapport with all levels of personnel, leadership and customers.
• Drive performance improvement by analyzing metrics, daily reports, KPIs, Kaizen projects, and developing plans to achieve organizational goals.

Required:

U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Ability to obtain a top‑secret clearance after hire is preferred.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in facilities, engineering or construction with a bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with a CMMS system such as Plant Maintenance in SAP or Maximo.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working cross‑functionally with leadership, customers and hourly skilled trades bargaining unit technicians.
• Minimum 3 years of experience and broad knowledge of production equipment and building infrastructures related to facilities maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering and predictive maintenance technologies (PdM).

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and apply for a top‑secret clearance after hiring.
• Familiarity with focused factory production methods, lean production requirements, electrical, HVAC or mechanical systems, tools, equipment, codes and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with external and internal customers, and ability to create achievable daily preventive maintenance schedules and customer‑service schedules for hourly skilled trades employees.
• Willingness to work holidays and during the Christmas/Holiday shutdown.

• Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 per year.
