Responsibilities
- Perform receiving inspections on Tucson and customer components prior to coating application.
- Examine components in process and after coating to meet customer and industry specifications.
- Perform mechanical testing after coating as required.
- Collaborate with ship employees and fellow technicians to support production and quality team members.
- Read and interpret procedures, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with all company, customer and industry requirements.
- Assist with NADCAP audit preparation as required.
- Communicate with customers as required.
- Help ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
- Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills required.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Requirements
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
This position will physically require the incumbent to perform duties standing, walking, overhead reaching, lifting (35–40 lbs), pushing and pulling totes, and leaning over machines, all equally on a regular basis.
