Material Handler

The Material Handler will receive and inspect incoming and outgoing materials; order and distribute materials. Maintain inventory of purchased and manufactured parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment.

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop, and/or Hanger positions)
• Comply with environmental health/safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5‑S activities. Perform all work safely and timely.
• Receive and visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only)
• Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment in accordance with aircraft delivery schedules; assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
• Verify and reconcile documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory via cycle counts, perpetual, WIP using computerized/manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments
• Transport and stock materials between locations as needed throughout the facility
• Provide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shifts
• Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, and/or rental equipment to authorized personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned

You will have 0–2 years’ experience in one of the following:

• Warehouse
• Shipping / Receiving
• Tool Crib

• Valid Driver’s License
• Customer Service Experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Basic knowledge of SAP (or Syteline for Commercial)
• Previous experience in the aviation industry
• Previous experience in material handling
• Forklift qualification
• Export shipping experience
• Hazmat Certification
