Onsite - Security Clearance:
Secret; interim clearance required prior to start date - U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens eligible for security clearance)
- Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs
- Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting and incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP
- Disposition non-conforming material with root‑cause analysis and corrective action as required
- Drive continuous improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate, and reduce direct and indirect costs using Six Sigma principles and data‑driven decision making
- Provide real‑time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators (in‑house and supply base)
- Develop tool/fixture to incorporate ergonomics into processes
- Lead corrective‑action investigations to prevent recurrence
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Engineering/manufacturing experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance
- Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
- Knowledge and ability to apply lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE)
- Hands‑on mechanical aptitude with ability to work across disciplines
- Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with technological advances
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
- Current DoD security clearance (secret)
- Experience with automated tooling, machinery and programming
- Experience with refurbishment and repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
Job salary range: $68,900 - $131,100. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays, and other benefits as determined by business unit and collective‑bargaining agreements. Salary and benefits are determined by experience, location, education, and key skills.
