Composite Manufacturing Operator

At Blackwave, we build next-generation composite structures in a fast-moving scale-up environment. Our production team plays a critical role in turning advanced materials into high-performance components.

We are looking for a hands-on Composite Manufacturing Operator who enjoys working with precision, materials, and processes — and who takes pride in building things that matter.

  • Manufacture high-quality composite components using advanced fiber-based materials
  • Prepare, handle, and process dry fibers and resin systems according to defined procedures
  • Operate production equipment and tooling with a strong focus on quality and repeatability
  • Monitor manufacturing parameters and ensure consistent process execution
  • Inspect components and support quality assurance activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to continuously improve processes
  • Experience in composite manufacturing, technical production, or a comparable hands-on role
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • A structured, reliable, and responsible working style
  • Willingness to follow defined processes while staying alert to improvements
  • Comfort working with materials, tools, and production equipment
  • Team mindset with the ability to work independently when required
  • Experience with fiber materials, resin systems, or vacuum-based manufacturing processes is a plus — but not a requirement. We value strong fundamentals and the motivation to learn.
  • Willingness for shift work (day shifts between 6am and 10pm Monday to Friday)
  • English speaking skills at least B2;
German speaking skills is an advantage
  • 30 days of paid vacation – plenty of time to recharge.
  • No nights shifts or weekend duty - we care for your work-life balance
  • Free lunch & drinks – freshly prepared on site every day.
  • Work clothes provided – no need to bring your own gear.
  • Secure job with real responsibility – we rely on you.
  • Easy to reach & mobility support – e.g. with the Deutschlandticket.
  • A strong team – supportive, open and international.
  • Regular team events – from BBQs to pizza nights.
