Position Summary
Perform setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling information.
Responsibilities- Setup and operate CNC lathes or mills with existing programs and tooling information (such as Mazak).
- Make tool offsets as required.
- Make offset changes on CNC equipment.
- Inspection equipment/tools (such as Micro Vu & Keyence).
- Deburr parts as needed.
- Work with little or no supervision.
- Work cohesively within a team environment.
- Complete thorough quality production documents: including but not limited to, First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others, as required.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Education and/or
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Know basic math skills.
- Able to interpret blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling problems to produce quality parts to specifications.
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 12:00 am; eligible for shift differential pay.
