Sr. Analyst, Materials Planning, SIOP

Overview

Onsite position in Tucson, AZ. The Sr. Analyst, Materials Planning, SIOP supports production factories or programs by performing technical and business tasks to prevent work stoppages and schedule slips. The role directly supports CORE and other continuous improvements.

• Material Stock Availability; create the line of balance between customer demands, product inventory, and production levels.
• Support analysis of multiple and moderate complexity Bills of Material in an MRP system; release work orders and track material through the assembly process.
• Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Provide status on material availability and potential supply problems to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Work daily to confirm material supply and demands.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering; propose solutions to mitigate work stoppage due to slips in material orders.
• Control on-hand material through its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, etc.

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software.
• Experience in manufacturing, planning, scheduling, material tracking, or relevant project management experience.
• Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application. U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance prior to start date.

• Experience with Special Program Access.
• Experience with Kinaxis, CMES or similar software.
• Material planning and order execution experience.
• Experience with MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook/Teams).

Role type:
Onsite. This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) handles the security clearance process. Candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is onsite, hybrid, or remote.

Salary range: 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off. Benefits may vary by business unit and collective-bargaining agreements.
