Summary
The Packaging Support team member is responsible for efficiently packaging product inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role counts, labels, assembles, bags, and boxes a variety of items into final product packaging, performs basic visual inspections, and reports any product or equipment issues or quantity/quality discrepancies to supervisors. The Packaging Support team member also helps keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, and works collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
This role must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
- Package product inventory in an efficient and effective manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area for yourself and other employees.
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
- Maintain high-quality standards during shifts, including constant QA/QC of all products being prepped and produced.
- Work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency.
- Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory in any way to supervisors.
- Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.
- At least 6 months of related experience and/or training in a production or packaging environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft suite (core applications), Google, Slack, and experience in Jira and/or other management platforms and software preferred. - Language skills:
Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written. - Math skills:
Basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. - Occasional travel required between buildings and sites.
- Ability to maintain and manage confidential information.
- State regulations require all applicants to be 19 years of age or older.
- Work Safe, Serv Safe or Food Handler's Card preferred.
- Will be required to submit to a background check.
- Must obtain all applicable state‑required permits, licenses, and certifications.

The employee is frequently required to perform repetitive motion tasks. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, and arms, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently bend, lift, and reach; occasionally moving equipment and products weighing up to 50 pounds and frequently moving products, boxes, and ingredients less than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. The temperature may fluctuate between hot and cold. Job duties may necessitate the use of hairnets, gloves, and or non‑slip shoes.
