Lead and manage the Test Equipment Integrated Product Team for the Maritime Strike Tomahawk, overseeing cross‑functional teams and ensuring successful development, integration, and testing of complex systems.
What You Will Do- Lead the TE IPT through all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements definition to delivery.
- Lead system integration, troubleshooting, and failure investigation activities.
- Generate requirements, statements of work, and verification plans.
- Direct engineering teams performing test system design, assembly, and integration.
- Collaborate with systems, software, firmware, modeling, and algorithm teams to align project goals.
- Work with Program Manager to define schedules, budgets, resources, and ensure milestone adherence.
- Oversee design, development, and integration of test environments and simulation models.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and technical challenges throughout the lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to foster a high‑performing team.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating status and risks.
- Support proposal development and planning for future projects.
- Participate in Failure Review Boards and Change Control Boards as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of system integration experience (hardware, software, firmware).
- Proficiency in Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, and MATLAB for data analysis.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of electronics design, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and RF test environments.
- Familiarity with RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553 networking; equipment rack, cable assembly, and electronics maintenance.
- Experience with model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) and Agile development methodologies.
- Raytheon Program Manager Level 6 certification or ability to obtain within 12 months; EVMS certification preferred.
U.S. Secret security clearance (active and transferable) required before start. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
