Fabricator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Valmont Industries - 1501 South Euclid Avenue - Responsibilities:
Finish parts to specification with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.), portable grinders, hand routers, band saw, and sanding equipment.;
Sand burrs and sharp machined edges using sanding equipment and hand tools and buffing and polishing metals to correct existing defects.;
Operate grinding equipment per instructions and the machine manual.;
Read blueprints and job routers for deburring and finishing specifications.;
Maintain all deburring equipment and perform maintenance, as necessary.;
Keep the work area as clean as possible to reduce and minimize Foreign Object Damage (FOD).;
Conducts 5S procedures every week.;
Educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.;
Maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure quality.;
Accomplishes manufacturing needs by properly communicating job-related issues and working in a team environment.;
Ensure 100% quality of products by monitoring, training, and inspecting products.;
Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they arise.
