Become a Key Player as a R&O FAA Test TechnicianYou will support the organization by performing disassembly, assembly, re-work, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment to ensure continued airworthiness and on-time delivery. You will work onsite with production, engineering, and quality stakeholders to meet fast-paced benchmarks and production schedules. This role is onsite (day shift) and may require overtime, nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team- Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment
- Utilize manual and automated test equipment to test digital and analog circuitry
- Read schematics and verify circuit function; operate environmental test chambers
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications, and maintenance records with limited supervision
- Conduct tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment to deliver accurate and timely results
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation; follow written and verbal instructions and company policies
- Self-monitor progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and assist with 6S/efficiency improvement projects
- Assist other departments within scope of expertise and be open to cross-training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years prior work experience in an electronics manufacturing/testing environment
- Soldering experience
- Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment for digital and analog circuitry
- Ability to read schematics and understand circuit function
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills
- Computer literacy and experience with MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs and perform repeated hand manipulations
- Willingness to attend required FAA drug screening
$18.52 - $23.15/hour
