The Position
The Opportunity
As a Manufacturing Operator
, you are responsible for running automated equipment and systems to perform complex assembly, printing, filling, and packaging tasks while maintaining strict adherence to quality regulations. You will utilize validated software to manage processes and inventory control, proactively identifying solutions to drive overall production success.
- Execute Manufacturing Processes: Operate assembly, filling, labeling, and packaging equipment in accordance with production records and standard operating procedures to meet target metrics.
- System & Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot automated machinery and sequences of operation.
- Inventory & Data Management: Perform basic transactions within complex systems, including SAP confirmations, material processing, and batch record maintenance.
- Safety & Continuous Improvement: Recognize and elevate safety, equipment, or product issues, and apply Lean principles to identify opportunities that drive the business forward.
- Validation Support: Actively participate in the execution of protocols and system validations in a regulated manufacturing setting.
- Team
Collaboration:
Maintain the ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific production areas, providing low-complexity training to new employees and contributing to daily shift pass-down reports. - Ensure Compliance: Guarantee that all production-related documentation strictly adheres to established quality system regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 2 years operating within a regulated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with automated manufacturing equipment, precision tools, validated software systems (such as SAP), and general workplace software (Google Workspace).
- Skills & Capabilities: Strong critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills, with the agility to manage multiple tasks accurately in a high-volume environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, coupled with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for 4+ hours a day; push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; perform repetitive hand/wrist movements; have good visual acuity; and comfortably work around machinery while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Availability: Ability to have prompt, reliable attendance for an essential position that requires working on weekends, holidays, and during emergency or exceptional conditions.
Pay transparency
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson is 43,300. USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
