Principal Specialist, Materials Planning, SIOP

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist, Materials Planning, SIOP in Tucson, Arizona. This on-site role requires U.S. citizenship and an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance at the Secret level. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

What You Will Do:

• Develop Bills of Material for assemblies in multiple production factories
• Advanced knowledge in age-dated material management
• Support analysis of material consumption, new product transition to production efforts and align communication with the factory team to drive action plans
• Develop and implement new processes or standards that will have an impact on the achievement of functional results
• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
• Coordinate interdependent activities with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Program personnel, Quality and Engineering
• Participate in CORE projects to improve existing processes and accomplish continuous improvement
• Coordinate with supplier to resolve supply problems

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, project management or a related field.
• Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems.
• Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application. U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance prior to start date.
