Purpose and ScopeThis position provides basic support and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Responsibilities- Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
- Perform documented intermediate level PM’s on equipment
- Execute projects assigned, with guidance, on equipment improvements, rebuilds, or basic troubleshooting
- Following manufacturer’s instructions, manuals, and diagrams, diagnose and troubleshoot basic equipment problems
- Assist other Maintenance Techs on advanced PM’s and equipment troubleshooting.
- Track maintenance activities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- 2+ years of experience working on mechanical systems
- Proficient working with computers and Microsoft Products
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read and write English
- Demonstrated use and understanding of basic hand tools
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is required to push/pull, and reach above shoulder level. The employee must be able to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled
- Work on feet for entire shift
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
- Ensures all maintenance actions are accomplished in a safe and timely manner
- Team oriented
- 2+ years of CNC equipment operation – Mills, Lathes, Hones
- 2-year technical degree or trade certification
- 2+ years of experience performing PM’s and troubleshooting CNC equipment issues
- Experience managing spare parts inventory
- Forklift certification
