You will perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly work that ensures electrical/electronic equipment is built, reworked, and tested to specification. You will support production and inspection stakeholders on an onsite 1st shift schedule, with occasional nights, weekends, or overtime as needed. This role is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug testing.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work and minimum testing of electrical/electronic equipment according to instructions and procedures
  • Use electric solder equipment to IPC-A-610B standard and perform hand soldering, wire prep, conformal coating, marking, and adhesive bonding
  • Conduct inspections of your own and others' work against drawings and specifications
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workstation following 5S standards and adhere to safety and attendance policies
  • Complete a timed hands-on assembly assessment as part of the hiring process
  • Assist other departments with tasks, training, and development as needed
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years prior related work experience in an electrical/avionics manufacturing or testing environment, or completed OJT for at least 10 products
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity for working with small parts
  • Proficiency operating hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering equipment (IPC-A-610B experience)
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Capability to perform basic math and problem-solve using existing procedures
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform primarily seated work with some standing/walking
  • Available to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed; consistent, punctual attendance required
  • Willingness and ability to comply with a drug-free workplace and pass related screenings
  • Experience with MS Office

Pay Range

$20.00/hour
