Become a Key Player as an Assembler 3

You will perform detailed electromechanical and electronic assembly work that ensures product quality and airworthiness for the organization. You will work onsite on the 1st shift in a manufacturing environment, collaborating with production leads, inspectors, and other technicians to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform disassembly, assembly, rework, and minimum testing of electrical/electronic equipment
  • Use electric soldering equipment to IPC-A-610B standard and perform soldering/brazing tasks
  • Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires; prepare batteries; apply conformal coat; perform marking and adhesive bonding
  • Conduct inspections of your own and others' work against drawings and specifications
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workstation following 5S standards and adhere to safety policies
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and complete work under direct or limited supervision
  • Assist other departments with job duties, training, and development as needed
  • Be available for variable schedules, overtime, nights and weekends as required
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience in electrical/avionics manufacturing or completion of OJT for at least 10 products
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good mechanical aptitude and strong manual dexterity for working with small parts
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, electric soldering gun, and inspection aids
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
  • Basic mathematics skills and problem-solving ability for straightforward and occasionally atypical situations
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed
Pay Range

$16.00 - $20.00/hour
