Raytheon Production Test Engineers (PTE) interns are part of a manufacturing team who support the test process through one or more phases of the product life cycle, including product development, transition to production, sustained production and depot activities. PTEs validates and ensures compliance of the prime hardware to technical data package requirements and supporting test equipment. Interns will support the troubleshooting and problem solving of test failures while identifying opportunities in test processes to improve efficiency, yields, and capacity.
What You Will Do
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience with Test Equipment
- Experience in a Defense Manufacturing environment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- Experience/Education with manufacturing testing processes
- Experience/Education with test equipment and work instructions

- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.
