Production Systems Manager

Leonardo DRS is seeking a Production Systems Manager to lead and optimize production systems supporting advanced defense manufacturing programs. In this role, you will oversee MES/ERP workflows, capacity planning, and process controls to meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT to resolve issues, introduce new products and technologies, and ensure compliance with defense and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of production systems supporting defense manufacturing programs
• Optimize workflow, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Implement and maintain MES/ERP processes, documentation, and configuration control
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and IT to resolve production issues
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ensure compliance with defense, safety, and quality standards and internal procedures
• Support introduction of new products, tools, and technologies into production
• Mentor and develop production support staff and cross-functional teams
