Position SummaryJob Summary:
Responsible for operating injection mold machines to cast product from raw material to final product, follow set production schedules, prepare required production documentation, and perform the overall inspection of parts.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:
- Be able to set up and operate CNC molding machines on a limited basis with existing programs and tooling information.
- Be able to make basic adjustments to molding parameters to produce accurate quality parts.
- Have basic understanding of various types of mold tooling used in CNC molding and their proper application.
- Have good understanding of basic math & ability to ready prints.
- Have basic understanding of QA inspection equipment and procedures.
- Ability to follow all safety policies.
- Required to complete all quality production documents; includes but not limited to First Article Inspection (FAI), Day by Hour Reports, and others as required.
- Required to perform any other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 1 year of related experience, preferred.
- Know basic math concepts.
Requires frequent standing. Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds. Good dexterity and attention to detail through visual inspection.
