Airtronics, a manufacturing and machine shop facility with both commercial and US Government clients has an immediate opening on its team for an experienced welder / fabricator.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in welding and fabricating. Additional requirements include:

• Experience in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding of mild and alloy steels, aluminum alloys, and stainless steels
• Ability to read and interpret weld symbols on drawings
• Familiarity with military and aerospace welding specifications
• Perform mathematical calculations required to fabricate complex geometries
• Proficient in tooling, jig, and fixture design and fabrication
• Ability to run a manual milling machine as well as manual lathe
• Be able to trim, file, grind, deburr, buff and smooth surfaces
• Ability to weld, solder, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk or bond component parts to assemble products
• Be able to operate a manual mill and lathe to build tooling
• Weld both vertical and horizontal plane geometry
• Good understanding of set up techniques
• Must have well rounded understanding of ferrous and nonferrous alloys
