• Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize metrics and system accuracy.
• Improve process flows regarding the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
• Support analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system; releasing work orders and tracking material though the assembly process Provides support to material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
• Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders.
• Interface with internal customers.
• Leads projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
• Controls on hand material through its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, etc.

• Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with in Supply Chain, Production Control, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Operations, or other production driven environments.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

• Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems
• Experience with Government and Depot type processes
• Experience with MS Excel to include formula application and pivot tables.
• Experience working with MS Office 365 applications.
• Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system.
