Job Description
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing and optimizing programs for milling machines, lathes, and multi-axis machines. This role involves full involvement in machine setup and maintenance within a collaborative small team environment. Proficiency in software such as Mastercam and Fusion 360 is essential to ensure efficient and precise tool paths.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine CNC programs for milling, lathe, and multi-axis machines
- Set up machines for production runs and perform necessary maintenance tasks
- Optimize tool paths to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Collaborate closely with a small team to ensure smooth operations
- Utilize Mastercam and Fusion 360 software for programming tasks
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in CNC programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in CNC programming
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, particularly Mastercam and Fusion 360
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Hands-on experience with machine operation and setup
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
