Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN or LVN)

Naph Care is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of medical professionals in Tucson, Arizona
, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Pima County Detention Center.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and interview patients about current health problems and medication history.
  • Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
  • Provide wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas.
  • Administer medication, including injections and monitor reaction to meds.
  • Maintain medical records, including entering information into the electronic health record, Tech Care.
  • Observe patient health and mental health status.
  • Provide emergency first aid.
  • Provide patient education and discharge/release planning.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Actively state‑certified as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Possess an active CPR certification.
  • Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.
  • Display integrity, professionalism, and adhere to a Code of Conduct and all correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Physical Capabilities

Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks such as CPR while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
