Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - 3 shifts per week with 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule.
Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing quality care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care. This position requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the available staff.
The role also involves providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in patient care delivery.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education.
- Delegate patient care priorities effectively.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel in patient care activities.
- Float between departments and facilities as required.
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 6:1.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system.
- Must be willing to float between departments and facilities.
