Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN seeks a travel nurse RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13 week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and will support patients who need close monitoring but are not in the ICU.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.

Basic qualifications: BLS, ACLS, and 2 years of RN experience in acute care. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Stationary: stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lifting: lift 20 lbs easily; may need to lift up to 50 lbs when moving or lifting patients. The role demands good stress‑management skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
