CRNA Locum Opportunity - Tucson, AZ

We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum opportunity in Tucson, Arizona. This position offers a diverse caseload in a Level I trauma center and academic environment.

Position Details:

• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (2x10s or 2x12s).
  Providers unable to meet this minimum will not be accepted.
• Scheduling options include 4x10s, 3x12s, or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week).
• Minimum commitment of 3 months, with the option to extend.
• Experienced providers preferred, though new graduates will be considered with an extended orientation period.
• Hospital privileging takes approximately 30-45 days with an active Arizona license and clean provider file.

Clinical Environment:

• Approximately 50-65% of time will be spent in offsite locations, including:
  • Endoscopy (6-7 rooms daily)
  • Cath Lab (2 rooms)
  • Radiology (1 room)
• The percentage of offsite coverage is expected to decrease over time as staffing increases.

Case Types:

• Patients are typically ASA III-V.
• CRNAs will cover a wide range of cases including:
  • GYN, Spine, Ortho Trauma, General, Bariatric, Vascular, Pediatrics, ENT, Colorectal, Neuro, Podiatry, General Trauma, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, and Radiology.
• No coverage required for:
  • Hearts, OB, or complex vascular procedures such as AAAs, thoracic cases, or organ transplants.
