Sandstone of Tucson is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our nursing department and help elevate the standard of resident care.

As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a positive, collaborative work environment. This role is ideal for a nursing leader ready to strengthen their leadership skills and advance within clinical management.

• Leadership Support: Assist the DON in leading, mentoring, and developing nursing staff

• Clinical Excellence: Support implementation and monitoring of quality and evidence-based care practices

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and facility policies

  Work closely with clinical, administrative, and support teams to meet resident care goals

• Staff Development: Assist with orientation, education, and ongoing professional development of nursing staff

• Active Arizona RN license or Compact RN license required

• Previous nursing leadership experience preferred (ADON, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Supervisor)

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and standards of care
