Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology

This vital role offers the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing expert care for patients with gastrointestinal conditions. We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to excellence in clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification in Gastroenterology or relevant specialty
- Proven experience in managing gastrointestinal disorders
- Strong knowledge of GI anatomy, physiology, and treatments
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Skills:
- Advanced procedural skills such as endoscopy
- Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of current GI treatment guidelines and best practices
Education and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gastroenterology or related specialty
- Previous experience in outpatient or hospital settings
- Willingness to travel as required for assignments
- CPR and ACLS certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings or weekends if needed
- Valid healthcare provider liability insurance if applicable
