Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services, in partnership with Indian Health Services (IHS), is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a contract assignment at Piñon Health Center. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve children and families in an underserved community while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule.

40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)

What You’ll Do- Provide primary care services to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Conduct well-child exams, sick visits, and developmental screenings
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions
- Administer immunizations and manage vaccination schedules
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, growth, and development
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

Requirements
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Must be a U.S. citizen residing primarily in the United States
- Experience with Indian Health Service (IHS) or tribal healthcare systems preferred
- Experience working in rural or underserved communities strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a federal background/security clearance
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Pediatric NP or Family NP with strong pediatric experience required)
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of recent pediatric clinical NP experience required
- Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state or territory
- Active DEA registration (if prescribing within scope)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Proof of education (diploma or transcripts required)
