Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Tucson, Arizona

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 4x12-hour shifts | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Experience working in a Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, or STEMI Receiving facility

• NIH Stroke Scale certification (recommended but not required)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity emergency setting

• Guaranteed hours (48 hours per week) providing consistent and reliable income throughout the assignment
• Opportunity to work in a specialized emergency environment supporting a Trauma Level III, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility
