What You’ll Do

Provide in-house OB hospitalist coverage for obstetrics cases during the assigned shifts
Manage labor and delivery workflow in a high-volume OB center
Coordinate care with community OB/GYN providers and collaborating teams
Support delivery and consult needs alongside existing in-house and external specialty groups
Work with CNM teams delivering based on the patient’s plan of care
Help ensure safe, timely obstetric care in a rapidly moving clinical environment

What You Need
Required

Clean NPDB (as part of onboarding requirements)
Malpractice coverage history / confirmation (as part of onboarding requirements)

About the Assignment
This is a high-volume obstetrics assignment at an extremely busy OB center in Tucson, Arizona, supporting an in-house OB hospitalist model alongside a team that includes employed OB hospitalists, community OB/GYNs, and CNMs who deliver based on each patient’s plan of care. The center handles approximately 6,000 births per year, and the night shift runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
