Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator (RN) – Cardiovascular:
Coordinates the Cardiovascular Program for the entire Carondelet Health Network; performs project coordination, provides leadership and coordination of registry guidelines and performance improvement, develops training/education programs, ensures regulatory compliance, facilitates data collection and analysis, promotes patient and physician satisfaction, assists in inter‑ and intra‑hospital communication and collaboration, and supports marketing and community partnership efforts.
- Provide appropriate, quality service and/or care for age‑related needs of the population(s) served, according to the established performance standards and policies of the unit for the entire Carondelet market.
- Maintain required clinical/technical knowledge and skill set to support staff within scope of practice.
- Coordinate implementation of cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment response with the Cardiovascular Team Members.
- Participate in the identification of learning needs, coordination of planning and implementation, and compliance with monitoring cardiac registries (NCDR Cath PCI, TVT, LAAO) and STS Adult Cardiothoracic registries.
- Facilitate the planning and implementation of annual community and outreach programs for cardiovascular awareness and prevention promotion.
- Promote staff education to meet professional and program needs.
- Respond to the needs and expectations of internal and external customers (patients, partners, stakeholders, payors, physicians, staff, volunteers, etc.) and provide feedback to managers/staff regarding the needs and expectations of customers and the program.
- Work collaboratively with EMS Liaison to maintain and submit SHARE Cardiac Arrest data.
- Coordinate and maintain appropriate and effective service provision in assigned area through systems knowledge.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable CHN/Tenet policies and procedures.
- Provide direction and delegation in a positive, professional manner and ensure follow‑through.
- Ensure safety is maintained in relation to equipment and environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with and motivate staff, and foster personal and professional growth through delegation, problem solving, conflict resolution and mentoring.
- Demonstrate ability to respond positively to changing circumstances.
- Serve as a leader in program development.
- Identify and maintain required knowledge and skill sets to deliver/support quality patient care.
- Maintain annual requirements for role and program.
- Ensure program/service compliance with facility, regulatory agency, and corporate standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Licensure / Certifications
- Required:
Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona licensed in 30 days. - Preferred:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
Education
- Required:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. - Preferred: BSN, MSN.
Experience
- Required:
Minimum 3 years related cardiovascular experience with some level of leadership experience and advanced knowledge of program development, Microsoft Office Suite, computer and application skills.
