Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op
Location: Tucson, AZ
Agency: Adelphi Healthcare
Pay: $51 per hour
Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Contract / Per Diem
About the PositionTravel Nurse Source is working with Adelphi Healthcare to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Tucson, Arizona, 85738!
Requirements- Must hold active RN license in practicing state.
- 1 year of Pre-Op, PACU, or Surgical experience preferred.
- Current BLS; ACLS often required by facility.
- Strong assessment and IV-start skills.
- Knowledge of surgical prep and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Experience with EMR charting.
- Pre-Procedure:
- Perform preop assessments and review patient history.
- Verify consents, allergies, labs, and required tests.
- Start IVs and administer preoperative medications.
- Coordination & Safety:
- Coordinate with surgical, anesthesia, and OR teams.
- Ensure patient safety and readiness for the OR.
- Patient
Education:- Educate patients about the procedure and postop care.
