Position Summary

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education;

delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Talented Medical Solutions – Northwest Medical Center, In‑Office, Tucson, AZ, United States.

Shift: Nights 7 PM – 7:30 AM (3 x 12‑hour shifts). 48‑hour guarantee considered.

Requested start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance. Must be willing to float between units.

• Registered Nursing license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Board certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS. Trauma Level III certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR (preferred).
• Experience in STEMI and stroke receiving units (preferred).
• Knowledge of NIH protocols (not required but recommended).
• Ability to wear black scrub colors/dress code.
• Preferred:
  Charge nurse experience for additional rate.

Facility has 38 beds. Position duration: 13 weeks. Travel nurse assignment.
