Travel Ms/Telemetry Registered Nurse
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week with a requirement to work at least six weekend shifts during the contract period.
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process, adhering to state Nurse Practice Acts, and following hospital policies and procedures. The nurse will demonstrate critical thinking, exhibit scientific judgment, and show leadership in planning for safe patient care delivery. This role requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education and effectively delegating patient care priorities.
The nurse will also provide direction and supervision to the personnel delivering patient care.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to assess and provide care to patients.
- Demonstrate critical thinking in planning and anticipating patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with state laws and hospital policies.
- Maintain competency through continuing education and professional development.
- Delegate patient care responsibilities effectively.
- Supervise assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role.
- Current Arizona RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
