At Banner University Medical Center – Tucson, there will be exciting opportunities to be a part of the health care transformation. You will work alongside a group of dedicated physicians and staff that perform some of the most state-of-the-art procedures that exist anywhere in the country.
On our Medical Surgical PCU unit, we care for adult and geriatric patient populations with multiple co-morbidities. You will have an opportunity to work with a multitude of services such as but not limited to Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonology, Vascular Surgery, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Gastroenterology, nephrology and Hospitalists. You will work closely with our WOCNs (Wound Ostomy Care Nurses), wound vacs, heparin drips, blood transfusions, NG Tubes, Dobhoff Tubes, and PEG Tubes just to name a few.
Full-time: 36 hours per week, 3 12-Hour Shifts
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Must be available to work Holidays/Weekends

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
