Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse

GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department (ED) assignment in Tucson, Arizona (Level III Trauma Center). This 13‑week, 12‑hour night shift contract begins May 4 2026.

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12‑hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks (May 4 – Aug 3 2026)
• Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
• Facility: 38‑bed ED, Level III Trauma, Stroke & STEMI Receiving Center
• EMR:
  Cerner (required)
• Dress Code:
  Black scrubs

• Active RN license in the state of Arizona (or state of travel)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Willingness to float across ED areas
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, clinical judgment, and leadership skills

• Deliver high‑quality, compassionate emergency nursing care using the Nursing Process
• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency interventions for patients presenting to the ED
• Demonstrate critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in a fast‑paced ED / trauma environment
• Maintain and expand clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Delegate, prioritize, and coordinate patient care based on staff experience and education
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel, serving as a resource for clinical staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care (stroke and STEMI protocols included)
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and the state Nurse Practice Act
