RN, RN Nurse, Travel Nurse

Shift: 06:30 - 17:00, 4/10s with 10 - 12 days of call required in 6 weeks.

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works closely with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORT staff, and other personnel to provide patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, regulatory standards, physician orders, policies, and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department.

• Ensure the availability of supplies and timeliness of cases.
• Communicate effectively with patients' families.
• Update and manage physician preference cards.
• Scrub in and assist physicians during surgical cases.

• 2 years of experience required.
• AZ Nursing License and BLS certification are required.
• Floating is required, if needed.
• No option for block schedules or 48-hour guarantees.
