As a Resource Team RN, you will play a vital role in the assessments and plans of your patients at both Banner University Medical Center Tucson and South Tucson campuses. Banner University Medical Center Tucson has been named Tucson's top hospital and the third best in Arizona by U.S. News & World Report. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness, and patient transports.
In your role as a registered nurse with our Resource Team, you will support the clinical needs of multiple units throughout the hospital, including Progressive Care, Med/Surg, Outpatient Observation, and more. You will also grow your skillset through quarterly goal planning with your management team, continuously learning and expanding your RN skills and knowledge.
Schedule:
Part Time, 2x12‑hour shifts, Days or Nights available 7:00–7:30 with weekend rotations. Enjoy an 18% night‑shift differential and a flat rate of $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. Float Pool RNs also enjoy an additional $3/hr float incentive on top of base pay.

POSITION SUMMARYThis position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
