Job Summary

Position Summary

* The Trauma Program Manager (RN) provides leadership and oversight of the trauma program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving quality improvement, patient outcomes, and program growth within a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

* Lead and coordinate trauma program operations and strategic initiatives

* Ensure compliance with ACS and state trauma designation standards

* Oversee trauma registry, data analysis, and performance improvement programs

* Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams

* Monitor quality metrics, outcomes, and regulatory readiness

* Facilitate trauma committees, education, and staff development

* Support survey readiness, accreditation, and community outreach

Qualifications

* Minimum Requirements

* Education:

* Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)

* Experience:

* 3 years' related experience in emergency or trauma nursing; minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

* Knowledge of team building, systems thinking, complex problem solving, negotiating and influencing; change and conflict management; data analysis; coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, business strategy development.

* Computer skills required.

* Licensure/

Certifications:

Current or ability to obtain, Arizona RN License. Current TNCC

* Preferred Requirements:

* Experience:

5 years' related experience; 3 years supervisory experience

* Master's in Nursing-MSN

* Prior trauma program leadership/coordination experience preferred

* Knowledge of ACS standards and trauma registry processes

* Preferred certifications: TCRN, CEN, CCRN
