Patient Care Unit Registered Nurse
Location:
Tucson, AZ
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Job Description:
The Patient Care Unit Registered Nurse will be part of a diversely skilled team within a Level I Trauma center, providing essential nursing care across multiple adult health units. The role includes floating to various departments as needed to support patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to adult health patients across various medical units.
- Float as needed to provide support in PCU, IMC, Med Surg, or the ED and PACU.
- Adhere to established protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Manage medication administration and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
- Active RN license with no hits on state license.
- Current life support certifications - BLS and ACLS from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
- Driver's license to verify residency.
