PCU Nurse Float Pool

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed)
Job Description:
The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support across two campuses. This role involves being floated between various adult health units including Observation, Med Surg, and PCU. Nurses may occasionally be floated to the Emergency Department or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Providing specialized nursing care for adult patients in various health units.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assisting during transitions between units, including ED or PACU as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
- Active RN license with no hits on state license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
- Driver's license to verify residency required.
