Job Description
Join a vibrant neonatal unit in Tucson for a 13‑week assignment as a NICU Registered Nurse. This role involves caring for newborns in a Level III–IV NICU setting, often during busy nights filled with high‑volume deliveries. Expect to work 12‑hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an average patient ratio of 1:3. The position requires recent NICU experience of at least two years and specific certifications, including BLS, NRP, and EPIC systems familiarity.
Float duties may include providing care in the PEDS and PICU units, especially for infants six months or younger. This opportunity offers a lively, fast‑paced environment where you’ll contribute during a crucial developmental stage for newborns, with a focus on safety and precision. The hospital features frequent neonatal transports and occasionally requires assessments of well newborns in Labor & Delivery or Mother‑Baby units.
No first‑time travelers or locals within 75 miles are considered for this role, ensuring you’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in neonatal care.
